Kabila White Beach, Camiguin Island

These attractions are next to each other and located in Barangay Cantaan in Guinsiliban, Camiguin’s smallest municipality.  Both are managed by Cantaan Centennial Multi-Purpose Cooperative (CCMPC) .
Entrance fee is only Php 25, which already includes an educational tour of the clam sanctuary.  Note that this tour is done only around a man-made pool where some clams are housed.  If you want to view the clams on their natural habitat, you have to pay an additional fee of Php 150.

Kabila White Beach on the other hand is a heaven for those who want a rather peaceful and tranquil environment -away from all the other tourist in the area. The waters are calm and inviting which is good for relaxation.
Giant Clams are endangered species so be careful not to damage or do some activities that could disturb their habitat.

Clams bigger than your hands or heavier than a boulder are cultivated in a sanctuary near Barangay Cantaan in Guinsiliban, Camiguin’s smallest municipality. The sanctuary is called Kabila Giant Clam Conservation and Ocean Nursery which cultivates about 2,000 clams including the Giant Clams and home to 7 out of 9 Giant Clams species in the world.

Sto. Nino Cold Spring, Camiguin Island

The focal point of Sto. Nino Cold Spring is one large pool filled with natural water from thespring. The refreshing waters are cold, around 20 °C so that this attraction is a favorite on hot summer days. Weekends, especially during peak season, can be very crowded – especially considering that this beautiful spot has very cheap entrance fees! Anyone would want to visit the spring.

Located in Brgy. Bonbonon, Catarman, Camiguin, you have to go off the highway to get to the spring. Set some 2.4 km from the highway, it would be a very long walk if you decide to rough it out. If not, there are always the friendly locals who would take your there in a jiffy.

The clear waters are so inviting – plus you actually get to swim with the fishes. If you have time, you can also enjoy an overnight stay there.

Sunken Cemetery, Camiguin Island

In the 1870s, a volcano near this place erupted and caused the cemetery along with the capital city surrounding it to sink below sea level. In order to commemorate this place of loss, a looming cross was built in remembrance. Visitors all over the Philippines and the world come to admire this man-made marvel filled with legend and enchantment.
Some say a feeling of loneliness will hit you once you see this structure standing all alone in the middle of the sea. A place of reverence and reflection, the site is accessible by boat and visitors can stand on its small base while it remains above water. Many take the small boat ride in order to take photos and soak in the view of Mt. Vulcan, the volcano that sacrificed the people of Camiguin to the sea when it came into being.

Tuasan Falls, Camiguin Island

Tuasan Falls

Tuasan Falls, the newest tourist attraction in the province of Camiguin, is located in Barangay Mainit, Catarman. Barangay Mainit is more or less 45-minute jeepney ride from the capital town Mambajao. From eskina Mainit, where big signage of Tuasan Falls is posted, another 10 minutes (more or less) habal-habal ride to reach the spot.

The road going to the falls is 90% developed and paved (during my visit). Yep, it's an easy access to the newest gem of the province compared with past years wherein the road is only passable by habal-habal then trekking or horseback riding.
